There are many ways for students to get involved at Lewisville UMC. Each program is designed to help students grow closer to God. Our wonderful adult leaders are there to love, to answer questions, and to point to God as we journey together. Make sure to check the calendar to see what we have coming up next!

• Sunday Night Youth - Our main weekly meeting takes place from 4:30-6:45 PM on Sundays during the school year. The evening begins with Games & hang out in the youth room until 5. Following that, we introduce a topic as "ONE GROUP." At 5:30, we break up into Small Groups divided by age and gender (high school guys, high school girls, middle school guys, and middle school girls). Each Small Group is facilitated by two adult leaders, and gives students an opportunity for honest sharing and questioning in a comfortable environment. We wrap up the evening with a delicious dinner provided by our generous parents!
• Bible Study-We are planning to have a weekly Bible Study in the fall for the the youth and their parents. The studies will be divided by age and gender. Our intention of involving the parents is to ensure that the entire household is on the same page spiritually. Students, if you haven't filled out a survey yet to find which night works best for you, please see Emily for one.
• Sunday School - Classes for students in grade 6, grades 7-8, and grades 9-12 meet every Sunday at 9:45 AM in between the two worship services. See the calendar for more details on each class.
• Wednesday Night Fellowship Meal - Lewisville UMC hosts a churchwide meal on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM in the fellowship hall. The meal is either a potluck supper or a meal catered by a group in the church. Students and their families are encouraged to attend and enjoy the great food and fellowship!

• Carolina Cross Connection - Each summer, ONEGROUP students in 9th grade and above spend a week serving the less fortunate in Western North Carolina. This is always a powerful week, and lives are transformed both in the communties in which we serve and within our own group. Bottom line - if you're in high school, you need to go to CCC! • SURGE Week @ Lake Junaluska - Always a favorite of our group, SURGE Week at Lake Junaluska is a time where students from all over the Southeastern US gather to worship the Lord and have some crazy fun too! • Winter Retreats - When the weather gets cold, ONEGROUP heads to the mountains for a weekend of skiing, fellowship, and spiritual growth. Separate retreats are held for high school and middle school students. Click for more information on 2011 high school and middle school retreats.
